It has been 25 years since Pridcorp began as a group of Western Canadian Independent DSD distributors and through determination and their entrepreneurial spirit are now operating across Canada as the United Distribution Network.
With major changes to the industry we have stayed ahead of the curve, remained flexible and adapted to the many challenges within our industry. During 2012 through 2014 we operated in partnership with Premium Brands (PBH) under National DSD (NDSD); however, in 2014 PBH announced changes to their distribution model eliminating 3rd party products through their warehouse. As a result; United Distribution Network was formed and became the preferred DSD distributor for PBH branded products sourcing 3rd party products directly from suppliers to distribute through our network with over 100 DSD trucks.
We are totally independent with regards to the suppliers and products we choose to represent and sell to corporate and independent retail accounts in our territories.
An added benefit beginning in 2015 is our capability to warehouse and cross-dock (through Complete Distribution Services) products for Western Canada as well as 3rd party billing, reporting and the best product coverage with the best DSD sales people in Canada.
We host a popular Trade Show during our AGM that is held in the spring each year. This trade show is open to vendor partners and is a fantastic opportunity to introduce new product lines and to interact directly with our distributors.
